These professional services work to empower your development team and protect your future buyers.

Peer Design Review

  • Complete Peer Review of critical project design documents such as Structural and Architectural design to confirm if the Construction Drawings represent a sound design and are suitable for construction. 

  • Check that products, selections, specifications and construction details are fit for purpose.

  • Protect the quality of the completed built works by giving quality constraints to the Building Contractor. 

  • Audit the complete project design for design discrepancies and gaps in information that may lead to surprise costs from the Building Contractor. 

Contract Critical Stage Inspections

  • Review your contract used to sign-up the Managing Contractor and adjust the contract terms to impose a requirement for planned Inspection Hold Points and Inspection Test Points during construction.

  • Conduct staged construction compliance inspections of the building during construction to ensure the building is built to the National Construction Code and all warranties are upheld.

  • Catching departures from the contracted design early saves time and money.

  • Expectations can be reaffirmed at the start for a better finished product.

  • Complete a Practical Completion Inspection to identify defects for rectification at project handover.

Progress Reports

  • Complete progressive building progress inspections and reports during construction to ensure you only pay for what is done.

  • Assess builder claims for time extensions and other variations.

Project Handover Manual

  • Complete a comprehensive Project Handover Manual (PHM).

  • ALL equipment, fixtures, fittings, materials and finishes outlined with relevant specifications and warranties.

  • The PHM allows the future council of owners to gain complete transparency into how the building is built and how to operate and maintain the asset.

Maintain
Warranties

  • Provide a 10 Year Maintenance Plan so that buyers and future council of owners can understand the requirements to maintain the building and warranties. 

  • Complete 6 Year Builder Warranty Inspections to make sure the builder fixes any major apparent defects prior to the expiry of this warranty.
